Alex And Friends was created by Author Robert Liddell, Illustrated by Eddie Platt, inspired by Alex Nasir Liddell and his grandmother the late great Mary Joyce Liddell. With the passing of my mother which is baby Alex’s grandmother on May 17, 2020, I knew I had to do something and do it fast. With Alex still in his mother’s womb I started to think of things that would bring light to a dark space and that’s when the creative juices started to flow. Born July 5, 2020 Alex came into the world full of smiles. Immediately I knew I was headed in the right direction. This activity/children’s coloring book will be first of many for the people to enjoy. This book is full of life, created to bring laughter, joy and a little challenge to the minds and hearts of the young men and women of the world. This book was created to bring people together, sharing the journey of Alex and his grandmother, since she isn’t here to experience him in the flesh like so many others, but can be here in spirit and character, in these trying times due to life altering situations. Alex and Friends is seasoned with love, integrity and compassion. Author Robert Liddell prepared a small package of comfort by using a few of his delicious recipes to bring people together in remembrance of the love his mother and father impacted him with. With so much more to come, Alex And Friends wants to remind you that people can come together and be inspiring. The characters are all remarkable and unique in there own way.
